Key Role Summary:
Lead a multi-discipline team of trades and apprentices to deliver safe, quality, and timely maintenance services for surface fixed plant equipment.
About the Job:
This role reports to the Maintenance Coordinator at Agnew and is responsible for ensuring alignment with Operational and Department targets.
The successful candidate will lead a team in providing preventative and corrective maintenance services for major equipment such as grinding mills, screens, conveyors, crushers, and pumps.
As a statutory Appointed Supervisor under Work Safe 2022 regulations, the individual must complete training and uphold duties while ensuring tasks are issued and completed safely and in compliance with established procedures.
Effective leadership and communication skills are essential to focus team activities on achieving maintenance schedule compliance, including weekly outages and triannual shutdowns.
Responsibilities:
* Develop relationships with team members based on GFA values
* Issue and complete tasks in a safe manner, aligning with Australian standards
* Demonstrate effective leadership and communication skills
* Mentor and develop team members to support personal development
* Implement strategies to drive compliance to statutory and ICMC related compliances
Requirements:
* Mechanical Trade qualification at a certified level in process plant maintenance
* Proven experience at Supervisory level, especially with multi-discipline teams
* Extensive experience on fixed plant equipment, including grinding mills, screens, conveyors, crushers, and pumps
* Sound understanding of maintenance work management processes and CMMS systems, particularly SAP
* Competence in Asset Management, Reliability Centred Maintenance, and Root Cause Analysis principles
