We are currently expressing interest in potential upcoming recruitment for Grants Processing and Grants Administration Officers for disaster recovery relief.About the RoleThese positions will be for regional Hubs. The roles will involve a mix of Customer Service, Data Entry, and Compliance Administration, face to face customer service. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be supporting people in the Queensland Community who have been impacted by severe weather and are experiencing emotional stress and hardship.Key Responsibilities:Review and process grant applications in line with departmental policies and funding requirements.Maintain accurate records of grant applications, approvals, and funding distributions.Coordinate communication with applicants, providing guidance on submission requirements and timelines.Monitor grant compliance and reporting requirements, ensuring timely submission of necessary documentation.Provide advice and assistance on available support to individuals impacted by disaster events, including access to financial grants as well as human and social initiatives being delivered by our local community and NGO partners.About YouWe are looking for candidates who are available immediately (at very short notice) and who are flexible with their working hours, as shifts may be scheduled between 6:00 AM & 10:00 PM, Monday to Sunday (following 4/5 days on, 2 days off roster).Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.Previous experience in grants management, processing, or administration is preferred but not essential.Customer Service Experience: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.System Proficiency: Proficiency with systems for data entry.Compassion and Sensitivity: Ability to provide compassionate and sensitive support to individuals experiencing trauma.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and manage issues effectively.Adaptability: Flexibility in managing ambiguity and responding to rapidly changing conditions.Collaboration: Experience working with stakeholders, including NGO and community partners.You will be required to undertake a Criminal History Check if you are successful.The Benefits$58.02 per hour + SuperContract roles (Length is determined by workload)Please apply by uploading your resume in MS format only (.doc or .docx).Due to the high volume of interest in this role, we won’t be taking phone calls at this time so please apply online if you would like to be considered.
