We need a presale’s visionary (Solutions Engineer) who strives to innovate the world of offerings and solutions. Using our extensive portfolio of Software, Hardware and Services, you will position our solutions and value with various Queensland customers, ranging from Commercial to Enterprise customers all while developing a strong technical partnership.
Delivering the most accurate standalone / cross-portfolio solutions and presales proposals, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve our strategies, offer packages and pricing, and client proposals. Because you’ll craft so many inventive solutions, you’ll handle a continuous roadmap of opportunities in support of the full lifecycle requirements.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will get the opportunity to work with Various Queensland accounts as a Solutions Engineer (SE). As a Cisco Solutions Engineer, you will be a part of a dynamic and creative team of technology influencers. WHO YOU ARE
You are an experienced Solutions Engineer with a strong background in one or more of our key Architectures: Transform the Infrastructure, Reimagining Applications, Secure the Enterprise or Hybrid Work. You will partner with our Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role, promoting and showcasing Cisco solutions. You have industry knowledge and years of technology experience to aid in technical solution selling, explaining features and benefits to customers and crafting and configuring solutions to meet specific customer needs.
You will gain access to the palette of Cisco technologies and applications. In addition to technological aptitude and the ability for accelerated learning, you have social, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills that evoke passion and confidence.
MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- 5+ years of networking and/or telecommunications and/or cloud industry-related experience as well as Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area.
- Previous Pre-Sales experience
- Strong knowledge in the Software Defined Networking area.
- A strong multi-domain skillset across Collaboration, Campus and Branch Networks, Security, Cloud, Observability and IoT
PREFERRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
- CNP, CCDP or similar vendor Certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively and chip in as a team member.
- Strong analytical skills: ability to assess a problem and resolve with an effective course of action.
