Key Requirements
* A minimum of Certificate IV in Cookery or 3 years of work experience as a Cook.
The salary range is $74,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation, dependent on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
* Food preparation and dish creation as per the menu.
* Preparing diet-specific food items and customized orders.
* Ensuring food presentation meets quality benchmarks.
* Estimating food and labor costs within kitchen operations.
* Participating in deciding weekly specials and their market prices.
* Assisting the Chef in recruiting staff.
* Supervising junior workers engaged in food preparation.
* Monitoring sanitation and hygiene practices.
* Receiving and implementing customer feedback.
* Assisting with budgeting and kitchen purchases.
* Contributing to planning special events.
