We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Service Desk Analyst to join our IT Service Desk team. In this role, you will provide telephone support to resolve IT-related issues for both staff and students. Your friendly, helpful, and professional approach will ensure the timely and effective coordination of customer support.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide IT support via telephone, demonstrating a professional and capable approach.
* Resolve technical issues related to Microsoft operating systems (Windows 7/8/10) and Office 365 applications.
* Support Apple macOS users and troubleshoot networking issues (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs).
* Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and effective problem resolution.
What you'll need to succeed
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT helpdesk or end-user support.
* Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and Office 365 applications.
* Knowledge and experience with Apple macOS.
* Understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts.
* Formal technical education and qualifications are highly regarded.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Only applicants with Permanent Residency or Australian citizenship are encouraged to apply as this position will lead to permanency post 6-month tenure.
