Job Title: Information Management Officer
About the Opportunity:
Council is seeking an experienced Information Management Officer to join their team. This role involves undertaking the daily functions of Council's document management system to provide an efficient and effective service to the Organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with mail handling in an efficient manner; Ensuring internal and incoming mail is collected daily, processed correctly, and distributed;
* Undertaking Records Management and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and Council Policy;
* Assisting Council staff with searches for files, documents, and archived material and retrieval of files as required.
About You:
The successful applicant will have experience in exercising confidentiality, discretion, sensitivity, and judgment; Exercising good oral and written communication skills, to enable effective communication between internal and external customers; Managing time effectively, efficiently and meeting deadlines; Working knowledge of legislation, standards, regulations, and guidelines as they apply to the relevant work areas.
