The role:
1. The Preanalytics Team are the ‘gate keepers’ for samples received into Pathology. They are responsible for determining if samples and request forms are appropriate for analysis.
2. Preanalytics also performs a referral role dispatching samples nationally and internationally.

Details of Appointment
Fixed term, full time, shift-worker positions working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible to 30 March 2024.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
6. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $69,574 - $75,199 per annum + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
7. An Associate Diploma from a recognised tertiary institution, or an *equivalent qualification, appropriate to the nature of the work OR relevant training and/or experience determined in accordance with the provisions of Section 37 of the State Service Act 2000.
* Knowledge and expertise consistent with qualifications recognised at Certificate III and IV or equivalent level
