Job Description
This is a hands-on leadership role with both operational and strategic finance responsibilities, including:
* Managing and mentoring a small team of three finance staff.
* Business partnering with operations to support decision-making and optimise performance.
* Overseeing the preparation of monthly financial reports and statutory accounts.
* Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
* Ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
* Providing financial insights and partnering with the Managing Director to drive business performance.
* Streamlining financial processes to enhance operational efficiency.
* Managing cash flow and working capital effectively.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate is a commercially savvy finance professional with strong leadership capabilities.
* CPA/CA qualification or equivalent.
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
* Ability to lead and develop a team, fostering a culture of excellence.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
