DescriptionThe RoleReporting to the Credit Manager, the Credit Analyst supports the credit function that underpins the AltX Group offerings. This role has primary responsibility for ensuring that credit submissions are accurately compiled for presentation to the Credit Committee and loan documents are accurately instructed and prepared.Key AccountabilitiesReviewing and assessing loan applicationsUndertaking due diligence in accordance with AltX’s credit policies and proceduresEnsuring all relevant financial and legal documents have been supplied to support loan application processAnalysing and validating supporting documents including reviewing & interpreting Financials, Tax Returns and valuation reportsConducting and interpreting searches (company, guarantors, title)Preparing credit submissions and presenting recommendations to the Credit CommitteeManaging pipeline of incoming loan submissions on a day to day basisPreparing loan instructions and liaising with solicitors to ensure loans are instructed efficientlyContributing towards ensuring processes are streamlined and efficientYou’ll Know You’re Successful in this roleYou’re recognised by the business as having excellent knowledge of all AltX Group productsYou’ve shown yourself to be solution oriented and willing to constructively engage with the BDMS, brokers and other relevant stakeholdersYour credit papers are well written and error freeKey Skills, Experiences and AttributesExperience in the banking, non-bank and finance industries, specifically within a credit roleWorking knowledge of the banking industry, Australian housing market, and regulatory environmentExperience in credit assessments of long term product offeringsExperience with assessing PAYG and Self-Employed applicationsHold Delegated Lending Authority (DLA)Strong numeracy and analytical skills, and a high attention to detailAbility to write clearly and conciselyCustomer-centric and solutions focusedProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft WordExcellent multi-tasking, time management and communication skillsRole Type
