We are seeking a qualified and experienced Field Contract Manager to join our team in the ACT for an exciting new NBN project.

The Role The Field Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all field-related aspects of the assigned contract, ensuring that service providers meet contractual, commercial, customer, and safety requirements while achieving project objectives. The position will be based in the ACT.
Key Responsibilities Customers & Suppliers: Liaise with Genus teams, clients, and subcontractors to exceed client expectations. Handle customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and communication. Manage relationships with suppliers of construction, installation, and maintenance services. Process & Quality: Conduct field audits on completed and ongoing work, focusing on safety and quality. Ensure adherence to Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Technical Work Instructions. Monitor contractor claims for accuracy and ensure timely, quality delivery of work. Take corrective actions for substandard performance based on analytics. Coordinate workflow updates with Genus Command Centre and Deployment teams. Address defects and rectifications through formal contract management processes. Conduct audits on supplier safety tools and equipment for compliance. Provide quality feedback to contractors and lead regular Toolbox meetings. Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience Current "C" Class Driver's Licence. Construction Industry White Card. Proven background in contract management for field-based resources in a medium-large service environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time project delivery. Strong safety knowledge. Time management skills. Client relationship management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Ability to manage daily challenges with autonomy. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
