This leadership role involves fostering a productive, safe, and collaborative work environment while consistently upholding and promoting the company’s values. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead a dedicated team comprising two yardsman and two workshop employees.Responsibilities:Manage a fleet of 80 + pieces of Plant & equipment (Komatsu Excavators, Graders, Loaders, rollers, Moxis, Trucks, various company vehicles)Maintaining a safe and productive fleet of assets to minimize downtimeManage the process for procurement and disposal of assetsMaximize utilization of assets by increasing customer baseProcure wet and dry hire plant to supplement in-house resourcesDrive efficiency and continuous improvement, Manage Hire and Manage costs and suppliersOversee yard and workshop employeesDirect, guide, support team members ensuring clear accountabilities, and managing performanceCandidate Profile:Demonstrated experience in a similar role (Fleet Manager, Plant Manager, Workshop Manager)Strong financial acumen, with ability to create reports and analyze data to support effective decision makingBasic mechanical knowledge, with an understanding of the Civil machineryA proven leader, with the ability to drive cultural change and continuous improvementExperience leading, developing, coaching, mentoring direct reportsExperience driving accountability, and performance managementWhat you'll get in return:Full-time ongoing positionCompetitive annual salary, paid every weekCompany vehicle providedApply now by hitting the quick apply button.
