The Role:
You’ll help the Environment team ensure the mine meets its environmental obligations. Your role will include:
* Environmental monitoring including collecting and sending water and soil samples for testing.
* Keeping records and entering data.
* Doing environmental inspections around the mine.
* Using drones to take pictures and collect imagery.
* Managing waste, including recycling and landfill.
* Helping with fauna handling and pest management.
* Supporting the Pastoral Officers on Mount Weld Cattle Station.
* Working with other departments on environmental issues.
* Getting involved in projects including land rehabilitation, collecting seeds, and mapping topsoil.
Work Schedule:
* 8 days on, 6 days off.
* You’ll fly in and out from Perth, or drive from the Goldfields area.

What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in the workforce, preferably in mining or completing fieldwork.
* Able to work outside in different weather conditions and working remotely.
