We are expanding our environment policy capacity within Environment, Heritage and Parks. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and highly experienced policy officer to lead on critical and emerging policy challenges to improve biodiversity and conservation outcomes for the ACT. We are looking for a strategic thinker with impeccable writing and analysis skills, who can collaborate with others to achieve environmental outcomes with on-ground impact. Some of the subject matter this role may contribute to include strengthening the ACT’s environmental offsets policy arrangements and analysing and implementing the Commonwealth Government’s Nature Positive Plan in the Canberra region. This role is currently set to be within Parks and Conservation Services, however, this may change in the coming months.
