About the role: We are seeking a powerhouse Senior Project Manager to lead high-stakes major road-rail projects up to $600M on Brisbane's Northside. Working closely under the guidance of an experienced Project Director, you will have the autonomy to drive project deliverables and manage cross-functional teams while benefiting from strategic oversight and support. We need a decisive leader with the ability to manage risks, control budgets, and navigate contractual claims, while liaising with key stakeholders and driving the team to success. If you're a strategic thinker who thrives on delivering complex projects, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring top-tier performance in safety, compliance, and operational excellence, we want you. The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience: Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent with 15+ years of experience in a Principal Contractor environment. Proven track record managing civil road projects up to $500M Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive project objectives and ensure safe completion. Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, contractual claims, and variations with detailed knowledge of head and subcontract agreements. Advanced communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with experience mentoring teams and implementing succession planning.
