In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents to protect critical Industrial Control Systems (ICS). Key Responsibilities include: Continuously monitor OT networks and systems for security incidents and anomalies using advanced security tools and technologies. Respond to and investigate cybersecurity incidents in the OT environment, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Analyse threat intelligence to identify potential risks to OT systems and recommend mitigation strategies. Implement and optimise advanced threat detection technologies, such as behavioural analytics and anomaly detection, to enhance the identification of sophisticated threats within the OT environment. Ensure seamless integration of OT-specific monitoring tools with existing IT security tools to provide a unified view of the threat landscape and enhance incident detection and response capabilities. Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, and AESCSF. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts to enhance the security posture of OT systems. Generate detailed reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and compliance status for management and other stakeholders. Work closely with the IT security team, engineering, and operations to ensure integrated and effective security measures across both IT and OT environments. Provide training and raise awareness among OT staff about cybersecurity best practices and policies. About You To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant cybersecurity or engineering certifications in ICS, OT Cybersecurity such as Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on OT/ICS environments. Proven experience in security monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis in OT settings. Strong understanding of industrial network protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850). Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82. Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management platforms. Familiarity with OT-specific cybersecurity threats and trends. (Optional) Previous experience in the energy or utility sector. (Optional) Knowledge of AESCSF framework. (Optional) Experience with regulatory requirements specific to the power generation industry.
