ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced National Key Account Manager in a senior sales role to build and strengthen relationships with our key clients, drive revenue growth, and support our sales team in securing new business opportunities with a focus on Blue Chip clients.
This full-time permanent role can be located either in Newcastle, Sydney or Melbourne.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring retention and satisfaction Support business growth by identifying new revenue streams and expanding existing key accounts Manage a portfolio of diverse clients across industries, acting as their main point of contact while ensuring regular contact, delivering on agreed objectives and demonstrating value to our clients Achieve and aim to exceed sales targets through effective account management Leverage data insights from Salesforce to tailor solutions to client needs Research and engage ASX Top 500 (blue chip) prospects, setting appointments with C-suite executives Assist Directors and Senior Management with sales call support, tender submissions and business development Follow up on leads received via our website, and on referrals of unsold items post auction Perform assessment of assets for viability before accepting a job, keep records and generate reports ABOUT YOU Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development with a strong ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships Tertiary degree in Business, Marketing or other related field is desirable Strong knowledge of trucks, motor vehicles and machinery is highly desirable Excellent communication including strong written and presentation skills essential; tender writing skills are desirable Excellent negotiation, customer service and interpersonal skills Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to complete deadlines, apply high attention to detail, analyse data and provide insights to enhance client solutions Willingness to travel for business as required with active driver's licence Solid computer skills (MS Office Suite); Salesforce CRM experience is desirable but not essential Successful candidate will need to undergo National Police check WHAT'S IN THE PACKAGE Negotiable salary base Annual performance bonus based on achieved sales revenue/KPIs Flexible/hybrid working options Besides the listed above, we offer free onsite parking, novated lease option, superannuation salary sacrifice, lovely fun company culture, fully stocked pantry, Friday team lunches and more!
