Commencing on January 4, you will be part of a team that consists of experts on conveyors, surface infrastructure, development, and longwall equipment. You'll collaborate closely with each department and coordinator, gaining exposure to various facets of our operations. Reporting to the Manager, you will experience a rotational role, engaging with five different areas within the span of two years.
Specifically designed for the Graduate Mechanical Engineer role, you'll undergo additional training in diesel engine systems and hydraulic fluid power courses. This specialised training will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in your role. It is a structured professional development program where you will participate in exciting projects, gain exposure to our mining operations and continue building your interpersonal and professional experience in a safe working environment.
As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to
1. Dive deep into the world of hydraulics and hydraulic systems.
2. Gain hands-on experience in project management, learning to lead and coordinate projects effectively.
3. Explore maintenance and life cycle projects, emphasising reliability enhancement, particularly in relation to bearings.
4. Engage with diverse and intriguing tasks spanning various mechanical engineering areas.
You will be required to work on a Monday to Friday dayshift schedule, and there might be instances where working backshifts is necessary. Temporary local relocation for the program's duration will be expected, and we offer a certain degree of relocation assistance.

To be eligible, you will have:
5. A genuine interest in hydraulics and mechanical systems
6. Full working rights in Australia and currently reside in NSW, Australia;
7. A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or be in the process of completing your degree) at an Australian or New Zealand University;
8. In your final year of study or have graduated in the last 2 years. Please include a transcript or recent results with your CV;
9. Have a keen interest in the mining industry or heavy industry
