About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who is highly technical to join the Gifting service team that is responsible for providing API enabled gifting solutions. In this role, you will lead the requirements gathering, design, and implementation of new solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, operations and external vendors, to ensure the successful delivery of projects on-time and within budget.
What You'll Do
* Developing product documentation (eg. process maps, context diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc), whilst collaborating with key stakeholders to find the right approach and solutions to solve the most valuable and interesting problems.
* Assisting the product team with building the roadmap and maintaining a backlog that's aligned to the product strategy, translating requirements into high-quality user stories, including personas and acceptance criteria, ensuring the stories can be tested both functionally and non-functionally.
* Providing leadership to squad members in the delivery and execution of sprint goals, facilitating agile ceremonies, inclusive of sprint planning, refinement, showcases and quarterly planning sessions.
* Ensuring that all collaborative decisions provide the targeted outcome for the customer, the business, the product and platform missions and ensuring the squad is always focusing on the right priorities.
* Execute exploratory to user acceptance testing to ensure solutions have the highest level of quality.
* Working with the UX team to define the Customer Experience and critically analysing what is required in the near vs longer term to deliver the vision.
What You’ll Bring
* 5+ years of strong Business Analysis experience, with the ability to review and challenge business requirements, define efficient solutions, and map solutions to business outcomes.
* Agile delivery experience, including participating in delivery estimation and planning, with exposure to the Atlassian product suite, JIRA and Confluence.
* Ability to provide the right level of technical specifications to facilitate efficient delivery processes.
* A willingness to learn new skills and get hands on with build and testing activities.
* Extensive experience in working with Restful API and microservices technologies.
* Figma, front end and back end development, and gift card processing within retail payments experience will be highly valued.
