About the role
The Diversional Activity officer role is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, working under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to support and provide quality diversional activities for residents within the Multi-Purpose Service of 4hrs per day of Diversional activities for the residents.
An Allied Health Assistant works under the direct, indirect and remote supervision of an allied health professional to provide clinical and administrative support to facilitate the provision of high quality clinical care.

·In accordance with the requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Regulation 2013, any person engaged in NDIS related work is required to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) clearance as part of their employment with Western NSW Local Health District if successful for this role.
