Service Owner – Data Platforms 54305 Permanent Role Sydney How will I help? The Service Owner is part of Data Platform Engineering team and is responsible for leading the required Platform and Framework related delivery utilising the Teradata Datawarehouse Platform to support major transformation and simplification initiatives within the bank to successfully implement data solutions. Candidates with strong data delivery experience, leadership across a matrix team, hands-on attitude, stakeholder management and agile mindset in a complex technology delivery operations environment would best suit this position. Role responsibilities include: Drive planning, backlog management and engagement with Line of Businesses Head Of/Service Owners/Partner resources. Collaborate with Large Programs and key stakeholders Be accountable for optimisation and driving efficiency of data migration methods and solutions by introducing enhancements and ongoing management of the endorsed patterns and frameworks. Drive conformance of projects/programs in line with enterprise standards and procedures Manage the delivery across several internal teams, including Architecture, Data Platforms, Infrastructure and Security Provide visibility of deliverables to senior leadership and be part of key governance forums as necessary. Utilise strong influencing and stakeholder management skills to promote best practices, principles, standards and understanding across the organisation. Engagement with LOB Heads and delegate(s), Line of business, business SMEs, and wider Data Platforms community to identify potential synergies across domains Coach the team to ensure success. Maintain communication channels and establish effective relationships with senior management and their teams across all business and Technology teams. Must have strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive discussions and effective outcomes. Must communicate with confidence, care, and genuine interest.
