We are seeking a Management Accountant to join Faculty Operations, Faculty of Business and Law.

Our commitment to inclusivity and belonging encourages our staff and learners to achieve their full potential.The Management Accountant is responsible for the provision of financial management advice and services to the Faculty, supporting the achievement of business and service delivery objectives. The role delivers sound financial analysis and provides support and advice to leaders to inform periodic financial planning, budgeting, costing, forecasting, monitoring and reporting.

The Management Accountant is a key member of the Faculty professional team, providing support and guidance on complex financial issues and identifying opportunities to continuously improve team performance and build capability that is aligned to current and future client needs and service delivery requirements..
What you need to succeed
1. Education, training, and/or relevant experience equivalent to completing a degree in a related discipline with applicable work experience are required. Working toward or holding professional membership with The Australian Society of CPAs, Institute of Chartered Accountants, or an equivalent organization.
2. Financial management skills in working with large budgets using a range of corporate financial systems and demonstrated experience in applying financial governance principles.
3. Demonstrated ability to provide accurate advice on financial and other data in a clear and concise manner to a variety of stakeholders.
4. Demonstrated ability to problem solve issues, evaluate processes and contribute to a high-performance culture.
5. High-level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport and manage collaborative working relationships, engage with a diverse client group and work effectively in a high performing team.
6. Advanced digital literacy skills, including demonstrated ability to successfully use spreadsheets and accounting systems including Oracle financials or similar.
