We seek to further expand our capabilities and compliance with the appointment of a results driven Quality Systems Manager.About the role As our Quality Systems Manager, you will play a vital role in coordinating and preparing the requirements to enable the organisation to seek third party certification under relevant ISO standards and ensure the consistent implementation and ongoing improvement of our quality, safety & environmental management systems.Develop, implement, and maintain our quality, safety & environmental management systems in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in preparation for third party certification, and ongoing to maintain certification.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to quality procedures and documentation.Conduct regular audits, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions to enhance our quality processes.Collaborate with department heads to establish quality objectives and SMART key performance indicators.Promote the systems via newsletters, training sessions, toolbox meetings and during all communications.Author new & further develop existing training courses and materials to satisfy internal requirements.Maintain contemporary knowledge of ISO Standards 9001/45001/14001, relevant regulations, and best practices while proposing innovative ideas to continuously improve our systems.Skills and experience Formal qualifications in Quality, Safety, Environment and/or comparable industry experience in the industrial or engineering sectors.Proven experience in quality management systems implementation & coordination, ideally in a national industrial work setting.Strong knowledge of relevant ISO standards with experience implementing Six Sigma or Lean being a distinct advantage.Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and root causes and implement corrective actions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the company.Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all documentation and processes.Certifications in quality management systems e.g. Certified Quality Auditor is highly desirable.Benefits at Diverseco Culture: A professional culture which also actively embraces and promotes diversity and inclusion.Health: access to Employee Assistance Program, income protection insurance and a partnership with a solutions provider to enable employees to access wellness, shopping, fuel and energy discounts.Career: The opportunity to further develop your skills and professional development through courses run by recognised training organisations and third-party providers such as Australian Institute of Management.
