Job Description
This role is a key member of the corporate finance team working with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Key duties include:
* Preparing annual and half-year statutory accounts and other compliance-related documents.
* Monthly management and operational reporting for the group.
* Consolidation of group results, cashflow reporting, variance analysis and oversight of treasury.
* System enhancement and strengthening of the group's data analytics capabilities.
* Liaising with external auditors for preparation of statutory accounts and tax compliance.
* Managing, leading and developing the financial accounting team.
* Other ad hoc project related work.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will be CA / CPA qualified and have a minimum of ten years' experience within chartered (Big 4 or Mid-tier) firms and/or worked with or within an Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) company.
Having held a senior leadership role in finance, you will be driven by system improvements and best practice. You will have a meticulous attention to detail and be technically astute across International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), statutory reporting and managing external audits.
An ability to work autonomously and a deadline-driven approach, you will be self-motivated and work well in a close-knit team environment. This role requires someone with a broad technical skillset who is happy to roll up their sleeves and be solutions-focused but also operate at a high level.
