Job Description We have an Opportunity for National Security Lead for an ASX100 where you will oversee a professional security capability across Viva Energy's National Operations as you look to continuously improve the security performance of the organisation.You will be responsible for providing security assurance to meet regulatory compliance obligations inclusive of conducting site security and vulnerability assessments to inform security decision making.You will enhance a positive security culture by promoting Security awareness across Viva Energy Australia and the various work groups.You will be accountable for maintaining internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal business outcomes and maintain budgets for physical security operations, inclusive of labour and systems maintenance.Responsibilities Ensure all activities are conducted and managed in accordance with agreed HSSE practices Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO)?and Maritime Security Plan obligations as per?International Ship and Port Security (ISPS)?Code and?Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Act?2003?(MTOFSA),?inclusive of drills, exercises, audits and reviews.Maintain?commonwealth regulated Landside Restricted Zone (LRZ) and Waterside Restricted Zone (WRZ)?and attend?Port Security Committee?PSC?meetings. Support Viva Energy Defence DISP Membership when primary SO is on leave. Facilitate, manage, and process?Maritime?Security?Identification?Card (MSIC), Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and Auscheck applications on a national scale. Timely and effective response to security incidents and ensuring corrective action is implemented and associated reports completed. Assist the National Security Team (NST) with security responsibility for all Viva Energy operated facilities in Australia including?other?port facilities. Support and manage Security vendors'?performance Developing,?implementing?and?monitoring security policies, protocols, programs or procedures?inclusive of the?Viva Energy Group Security Standard (GSS)?to ensure compliance with?internal security policy?or applicable?State and or Commonwealth Government security requirements, policies,?protocols,?and?or?directives. Conduct, support, or assist in int/ext?reviews, internal evaluations, or assessments of the overall effectiveness of the facilities' security processes. Skills A high calibre security professional with 15+ years relevant security experience. Detailed knowledge of Maritime Security issues in the region. Sound knowledge of International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) Code, maritime security plans and Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Act 2003 and Regulations (MTOFSA), Commonwealth Security of Critical Infrastructure Act and State Critical Infrastructure and Major Hazard Facility licencing. Qualifications Certificate III Security Guarding Certificate IV Security Risk management or equivalent Applicable State Driver's License Previous experience/knowledge in issuing of MSIC, ASIC identity cards along with conducting verification of documents to support Auscheck process.
