About the role: Bio Gro is seeking a Sales Support Officer - Administration to join the organisation to temporarily support the Sales team at our Dandenong South, Victoria site. This maternity leave position will be an 8-month initial fixed-term contract, working full-time hours. This fixed term may be subject to extension if required. We are looking for a courteous and professional person to join our sales team to provide exceptional customer service to all new and existing customers.As Sales Support Officer - Administration you will be responsible for:Taking orders via phone or email ensuring all information is collected and accurate.Follow through on any after sales support including follow-ups of quotes, order confirmations, and general touch points with the customer base on service level.Liaise with relevant staff regarding customer requirements and assist in providing solutions to customer problems.Recommend potential products and services to management by collecting customer information and analysing customer needs.Assist to resolve product or service issues by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, and selecting/explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction of adjustment, and following up to ensure resolutions.Assist with reports, quotations, and costings as required, delivery timelines direct to customers or to the sales team.Support the process of changes to and cancellation of orders/backorders upon request and advice from the Sales Team.Maintain an accurate record keeping system, prepare data, reports, and documents, and analyse information as required. About you: The Sales Support Officer - Administration will play a critical role in the delivery of sales administration by being a key contact to all new and existing customers. You will be able to problem solve and recognise the requirements of the customer when quoting on products. Horticulture and/or agriculture experience is desirable but not essential.
