Job Description
What you will do:
Commencing late September, in this newly created position, you will work closely alongside the Café Manager, Park Manager and the Group Food and Beverage Manager to represent the core values of the NRMA in terms of professionalism, cleanliness and guest experience. Our very own cafe, is located onsite, and will re-open for trade under new management.
This is a part time permanent position. The Café, will initially be open for a 5 day split trade (AM and PM) service, Thursday to Monday. You will:
1. Ensure all aspects of food preparation, cooking and presenting of dishes are according to company guidelines and customer preferences
2. Liaise with, food service staff and management regarding customers order and general service of kitchen operations
3. Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, to include proper storage of food, equipment, utensils and implements
4. Daily temperature checks of fridges, freezers, storage areas, deliveries and recording assessment where necessary
5. Cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting all kitchen areas in accordance with daily cleaning
What you will bring:
6. Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or club kitchen
7. Certificate in commercial cookery
8. A working understanding of 'Food Safety' principles and workplace health and safety
9. Possess highly effective verbal communication skills
10. Outstanding customer service skills
11. Happy to work as part of a team and chip in to get to get the job done right!
