The key purpose of this role is to assist the Grounds Manager in the delivery of gardening services which includes watering, pruning, weeding, mulching, fertilising, mowing, spraying and planting to enable the School gardens to be maintained to the highest possible standards.
This is an ongoing, full time position commencing immediately.
The successful applicant will have:
* Completed a Certificate III or above in Horticulture - mandatory
* Proven experience as a Gardener/Horticulturalist (minimum 2-3 yrs), with a solid understanding of plant care techniques - mandatory
* Able to undertake manual handling daily
* A current Drivers Licence, Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check
* Operate various plant and equipment to complete your daily duties
* A professional, well organised and hard working team player
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly, proactive approach
* Contribute to other property and team priorities where required
