Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the Head of Sales and Account Managers in a variety of tasks that ensure smooth operations and effective client management. This position involves administrative, analytical, and client-focused responsibilities, contributing to the success of the team and the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist Account Managers and the Head of Sales in completing delegated tasks.
* Prepare client reports and maintain accurate client profiles.
* Manage credit processes and assist with review preparation.
* Support new client onboarding, including coordinating documentation and setup and updating the CRM.
* Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and other data tracking tools.
* Provide marketing assistance, including preparation of materials and coordination of campaigns.
* Support team members with lead generation and follow-up on new leads, plus the preparation of proposal documents and support with travel tenders.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a sales support, administrative, or similar role.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Familiarity with CRM tools and sales processes is an advantage.
* Must have travel industry experience.
