ABOUT THE POSITION
This is an opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is looking to join a motivated and driven team and contribute on a diverse range of projects such as Residential, Industrial, Commercial and more. In this role, you will be pivotal to the lifecycle of a project, from the feasibility of the project to the completion. You will be working directly with the director of the firm and have the opportunity to learn from them.
DUTIES
* Manage Pre-Contract and Post-Contract stages.
* Create procurement and contract advice.
* Responsible for the measurement of quantities, estimates, cost plans, bills of quantities and pre-tender estimates.
* Direct projects from feasibility through to the completion of the project, ensuring on time delivery and budget control.
* Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure success of the project.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* A bachelor’s degree in project management or construction management (Majoring in Quantity Surveying) or equivalent.
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying
* Experience working with CostX
* Currently holds a membership in an accredited professional organisation (e.g. RICS, AIQS)
