We are seeking a Registered Psychologist or Senior Social Worker to lead our Psychological and Support Services team. Our client is a leading emergency services organisation providing fire prevention, preparedness, and multi-hazard response across urban and rural communities.
About the role
This leadership position will oversee mental health programs to support staff, volunteers, and their families. You will work collaboratively with statewide teams to drive a wellbeing-focused culture through prevention and intervention services.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver best-practice mental health programs and services
* Develop regional mental health plans using data-driven insights and stakeholder consultation
* Collaborate with Program Managers to ensure statewide consistency and governance of services
* Oversee regional support networks, including crisis support triaging
* Facilitate training, workshops, and events to promote mental health awareness
* Prepare reports, briefs, and submissions on psychological support services
* Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
* Represent the department in committees and working groups to drive wellbeing initiatives
