This position is based at our head office in Lionsgate Business Park, Elizabeth South, and is available on a full-time or part-time basis (30 hours per week). Availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays is essential for payroll processing and related tasks.Key Responsibilities:Prepare balance sheet reconciliationsMonth-end financial reportingPrepare and lodge BAS, GST, and other statutory reportsEnsure compliance with taxation, financial regulations, and internal controlsPayroll ManagementProcess weekly payroll for award staff and monthly payroll for salary staff (total of 85 employees)Manage payroll reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with legislative requirements such as payroll tax, superannuation, and Return to WorkMaintain accurate employee records related to payroll, leave, and entitlementsRespond to employee payroll queries, including reimbursements and deductionsEnsure compliance with portable long service leave regulationsAdminister Payroll Metrics software for accurate payroll processingAbout YouWe are looking for someone with:Proven experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or a similar finance roleStrong proficiency in Payroll Metrics or a similar payroll systemKnowledge of payroll tax and superannuationFamiliarity with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle NetSuite) - preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsHigh level of computer literacy, and proficiency in Microsoft ExcelA high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with the finance teamSecure, permanent employment with an Australian Quality, Safety, and Environment Certified ManufacturerSupportive and collaborative finance teamCompetitive salary & career development opportunitiesInnovative and dynamic work environmentProductive and supportive company cultureAnnual salary reviews aligned with performance and developmentSound Like a Great Fit?To apply, submit your resume and cover letter addressing the key criteria and why you’d love to join our team.
