Mission Australia Housing is an innovative, collaborative and values-driven Tier One housing organisation with a fantastic growth strategy and an exciting future.As a part of the Mission Australia Group, they currently manage 4,500 properties, providing social and affordable rental housing to low and moderate-income households and a safe place to call home for more than 7,000 tenants across Australia.Reporting to the General Manager, Operations you will be responsible for the management of the Mission Australia Housing team across the Northern Territory (NT) and Queensland (QLD) including Housing Services, Asset Services and Community Development.You will be a results focused, passionate leader who has the capability to drive and focus the Mission Australia Housing team across the NT and QLD on this exciting journey to achieve the strategic goals of the organisation in line with their values, mission and purpose.The successful candidate will have at least 5 years experience in the leadership and delivery of housing services within a social housing context, with a proficient knowledge of social housing systems, policy and procedures. You will have the proven ability to build and develop relationships and partnerships across all levels, drive continuous improvement in service delivery and improve performance against operational KPI's, whilst meeting and exceeding government, funder and regulatory requirements.You will be an inspirational, values driven leader with a passion for social justice and supporting people and communities to reach their full potential, with the commitment to work collaboratively, whilst empowering your team to operate and deliver within best practice principles.In addition, you will display proficient people management and communication skills, have an appetite for innovation, be a self-motivated leader and mentor who is accountable for their decisions.
