About the role
An opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Vineyard Operator to join our team in Margaret River. Reporting to the Vineyard Manager, you will carry out a broad range of day-to-day viticultural activities.
* Conducting the full range of day-to-day viticultural activities including canopy management, pruning, sampling, trellising, and vine training.
* Tractor operations including spraying, slashing, mulching, harvesting, and netting.
* Maintenance of irrigation systems.
* Record keeping and standard HSE company practices/procedures compliance.
* Contributing to a workplace culture centered on safety and achieving production and quality targets.
About you
Bring your confidence, ability to show initiative and flexibility, and great interpersonal skills to the table as you work in a close-knit environment.
* Undertake a variety of vineyard operation tasks.
* You hold a current driver's license and are able to undertake shift work during vintage and overtime as necessary.
* Previous experience working with heavy machinery in the farming, vineyard, or agricultural industries.
* A storage and handling chemical certificate would be highly regarded.
