Shangri-La Sydney is looking for a Full Time Demi Chef to join our In Room Dining Kitchen and Breakfast team.
About the role
* Participates in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food for the respective outlet.
* Participates in the creation of new menus and dishes.
* Prepares and ensures that all food is prepared and served according to the Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney standards and procedures.
* Assists in ensuring that all kitchen equipment is in good working order.
* Informs the Chef de Partie on repair and maintenance needs.
* Assists in maintaining the kitchen and other related areas in highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
About You
* Holder of Certificate in Commercial Cookery
* Must have a valid full working rights
* Experience in a Hotel environment or similar
