Job Description
The Senior Treasury Dealer is responsible for managing wholesale funding, securitisation programmes and liquidity risk for the bank in compliance with prudential requirements, Risk Appetite Statement (RAS), strategy, policy requirements.
Core Responsibilities
* Support and advise the General Manager Bank Finance and Treasury with respect to the bank's wholesale funding and securitisation programs.
* Built and sustain long-term relationships and partnerships, winning trust from a range of stakeholders.
* Plan, negotiate and arrange transactions under the bank's debt and securitisation programmes in accordance with the bank's liquidity management strategy and annual three-year funding plan.
* Proactively manage funding and securitisation programmes to optimise net interest income, according to market conditions, and comply with bank's liquidity management strategy, annual three funding plan and prudential requirements.
* Review and update the bank's financial and risk modelling relating to wholesale funding and liquidity requirements to ensure positions, assumptions and forecasts are accurate, in line with strategic objectives and market conditions.
The Successful Applicant
* A degree in finance, economics or a related field.
* Extensive experience in treasury operations and financial risk management (5+ years minimum).
* Demonstrates a strong understanding of financial market products, liquidity management and funding markets with a particular knowledge around securitisation.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
