Situated in the picturesque Redlynch Valley and catering for students from Prep to Year Twelve, Redlynch State College has a proud history of academic success, sporting prowess, community support and parent involvement. Our college is spread across two modern campuses, separated by parking and drop off zones. Students in Prep to Year Six attend the junior campus where our experienced staff provide strong foundations in literacy and numeracy in a secure and supportive environment. Our senior campus hosts the junior secondary (Years 7-9) and senior secondary (Years 10-12) phases of learning, with experienced staffand state of the art facilities supportinga curriculum that leads to a successful transition for all students to further education, training or employment upon graduating in Year 12.
Your Opportunity
This Deputy Principal Position manages the following portfolio:
1. Member of Secondary Administration/Leadership Team accountable to the Head of Campus - Secondary
2. Accountability for grade 8 and grade 11 students, including behaviour, wellbeing, case-management
3. Maintaining secondary timetable 2024
4. Developing secondary timetable 2025
5. Secondary staffing and recruitment (with Executive Principal)
6. Cancellation of enrolment process - year 11
7. Year 11 Leadership Camp (with year 11 Dean)
8. Line management of 4 HODs
9. Secondary reporting, parent teacher interviews, Curriculum & Pathways expo, and 2025 subject selection (as per timetabling).
