Branch: Primary Early Childhood and Education SupportDivision: Service Delivery - Statewide ServicesSalary: Level 4, $92,098 - $96,660 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2024)This is a three (3) month fixed term, full-time position commencing ASAP with possible extensionThe Early Childhood Education Branch, within the Department’s Statewide Services Division, is responsible for developing and implementing systemic policy and strategic planning in early childhood education for Western Australian public schools.The Branch has responsibility for implementing state and national early childhood education reforms, including a number of National Partnerships and Agreements, which are delivering significant changes to early childhood education in Western Australia. This includes policy leadership for the early years of schooling and extensive liaison across education sectors and government and non-government agencies.The RoleAs a Project Officer for the KindiLink initiative, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and growth of this important program across Western Australia. You will coordinate site visits, organise professional learning opportunities, and support annual forums by liaising with Aboriginal Islander Education Officers and other stakeholders. Your ability to research, record, and analyse attendance data will contribute to the development of detailed reports that inform decision-making and drive the initiative's success.In this role, you will provide executive and administrative support for KindiLink programs, ensuring effective management of finances, correspondence, and resources.
