Job Description
Support the Workshop Manager by providing leadership, supervision, and technical expertise to your Crew and the broader workshop team. The Leading Hand is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the workshop, maintaining high standards of maintenance and repair while fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.
A day in the workshop could see you:
Lead and mentor a skilled team of technicians, driving safety, productivity, and growth.
Oversee equipment maintenance to maximise uptime and operational efficiency.
Accountable for workshop safety, managing incidents and ensuring compliance.
Manage shifting priorities while maintaining top-quality work and meeting targets.

Qualifications
As a member of the Newhaul team, you'll be part of a dynamic company that values integrity, teamwork, and innovation. In addition to bringing your expertise, innovative thinking and drive to succeed, you will also have:
Cert III in Heavy Mobile Plant or Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Valid C Class Driver’s (minimum)
Experience in a Leading Hand position
Competent with service & repairs to heavy duty multi combination trucks & trailers
Strong team values & interpersonal skills
