Manager Group Resource Estimation and Reporting Sibanye-Stillwater is a multinational mining and metals processing group with a diverse portfolio of operations, projects and investments across five continents. A rewarding opportunity currently exists for a Manager Group Resource Estimation and Reporting to join our Sibanye-Stillwater team. This role will encompass the global suite of assets of the Sibanye-Stillwater Group. Location: There is flexibility in the base (Location) of employment depending on the applicant. This role will be SOHO (Remote/Work from home), with limited local and international travel. Accountabilities include, but are not limited to: Visualisation and technical scrutiny of Resource Models and Estimates in support of Group Technical activities Geological modelling and Resource estimation of selected assets as required Provide geological modelling and resource estimation support to the operating segments on request or as directed Conduct technical reviews as directed to ensure that resource estimations are accurate, reliable and compliant to protocol and best practice Assist with instilling group-wide best practice in Geological modelling and Resource estimation Conducting new technology research and implementation in the fields of resource estimation, metal accounting, reconciliation and digitalization Assist the SVP & Group Head of Mineral Resource Management (MRM) with the design, coordination and compilation of the annual R&R statutory reporting Partake in technical reviews and audits to monitor the reporting standards against existing code of practices Stay abreast of International Reporting codes in all countries of operations Project management of selected, geology related activities, including exploration activities and tenement management Facilitate SOX compliance within the MRM function by maintaining a data repository for all compliance documents The ideal applicant will possess the following: Be a competent person (SAMREC) in more than one commodity/geological setting, with a preference for Au, PGM's and base metals Have expert level proficiency in resource estimation and in a range of geological modelling software packages, such as Datamine, Leapfrog, ISATIS, and Vulcan; and the use of Supervisor Qualifications: Have a NQF 7 (Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma) in Geology, geostatistics or related field Be registered with SACNASP, ECSA, SAGS, SAGC or similar Experience: Have at least 10 years' experience in a related role, of which 5 years should have been at a management level Have experience in mining operations, exploration and project management Legal: Have a valid driver's license Have a clear security screening record Be medically fit to work in the specific business area, including mine site visits, going underground on occasion, and conducting field trips Additional requirements: Have advanced Computer skills (MS Office, Datamine, Leapfrog, ISATIS, and Vulcan; and the use of Supervisor). Have sound knowledge of a variety of mining methods Have sound working knowledge of the mine technical services functions and the cross-functioning between technical services and operations Have good understanding and knowledge of relevant mineral asset reporting legislation and related codes (i.e. JSE, SEC, SAMREC, JORC, SK-1300, NI-43-101, the Mine Health and Safety Act, the MPRDA and NEMA). Have knowledge of relevant mine standards and procedures Have ability to prepare a timeline for data collection, estimation and reporting Have ability to extract, analyse and interpret data Have ability to represent and present data Have report writing skills Have an understanding of cross-discipline integration Have an excellent understanding of resource classification criteria Have knowledge of geological Mineral Resource estimation and management methodologies Benefits of working at Sibanye-Stillwater: Competitive remuneration with performance-based incentives.
