Executive Assistant to the Head of Senior School

The Executive Assistant to the Head of Senior School is a key position that supports our Head of Senior School and Senior School Wellbeing Team, contributing to the overall daily running of the Senior School at TRAC. This role would be full-time, term time only.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Be the first point of contact for staff and students for all matters relating to the Head of Senior School.
2. Provide full administrative support to the Head of Senior School including email and calendar management, co-ordinate Head of House and Head of Department meeting schedules, creating agendas, minute-taking, and accurate record keeping.
3. Handle sensitive communication and manage confidential information.
4. Organise and provide administration support to Senior School events, catering, parent/teacher nights, Senior School Assemblies, and Presentation Assemblies.
5. Liaise with various departments and external organisations as required.
6. Support special projects and initiatives run by the Senior School.
7. Support Heads of House, Heads of Department, and Stage Coordinators as required.
8. Ensure compliance with all College policies, procedures, and regulations.
9. Support the mission, values, and ethos of the College, with a passion for contributing positively to the school community.
10. Perform other duties as requested by the Head of Senior School to support the school’s administrative and operational needs.
Skills and Experience
1. Prior experience as a Personal or Executive Assistant, ideally in a school or educational setting.
2. Advanced MS Office skills and familiarity with school management software.
3. Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
4. Discreet and trustworthy, with the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
5. High energy with the ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
6. Strong interpersonal skills with a warm and approachable demeanour, embodying the values and ethos of The Riverina Anglican College.
7. The ability to be autonomous, as well as work as part of a collaborative high-performing team.
