Excellent opportunity for an experienced Loader Operator to join a rapidly growing, global brand
We are seeking a Loader Operator at our Round Wood Manufacturing & Treatment Plant facility in Takura, Hervey Bay.
About the role
* Ensure efficient unloading/loading of timber products/poles around the yard for processing, fabricating, treating & dispatch
* Inspect product for degrading, re-treatment, quarantine and/or non conformance
* Ensuring product processed is correct and meets customers requirements
* Complete maintenance checks & loader maintenance inspections
* Work efficiently, ensuring minimum handling & movement of product whilst working safely
* Contribute to a healthy team environment
* Undertake the role with a strong awareness of the health & safety of yourself & others
* Perform other duties as required within your experience & competency
What are we looking for
* Previous experience as a Loader Driver with current Loader/Forklift ticket
* Experience in production or manufacturing environment preferred
* Ability to work unsupervised & enjoy contributing to a productive team environment
* Strong commitment to workplace safety
* Demonstrated initiative and reliability with a strong work ethic
* Physically fit with a satisfactory pre-employment medical screening
