You'll support the Head of Regulatory Reporting, work alongside 3 Senior Manager peers and lead a mid-sized team. You'll be responsible for components including:Ensure the team compile, prepare, review and lodge defined APRA ReturnsReview and approve defined APRA ReturnsEnsure all reporting requirements are met within deadlinesEnsure the team use, review and maintain consistent documentation for all regulatory reportingEnsure the team use, review and improve documented controlsCollaborate with EFS and Financial Operations Function to ensure consistency across returnsWhat you'll bring to the role: At least 7 years' experience in financial services, of which 5 are in regulatory reportingDemonstrated knowledge of Capital Returns in the banking industry is essentialExperience in leading a team of direct reports responsible for the completion of a large number of regulatory reportsAbility to collaborate with key stakeholders to contribute towards the mission and vision of regulatory reportingStrong analytical skills to identify errors and discrepancies in regulatory reportsStrong written and verbal communication skillsTertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, business, risk or related disciplineSound judgement, balancing a range of factors and prioritiesSound judgement to assess priorities, risks and issues and make reasonable decisionsWe believe a diverse workforce supported by an inclusive culture is central to our success and we actively encourage applications from those who bring diversity of thought to our business.
