Opportunity to utilise your leadership skills and facilities management experience to support the implementation of minor capital works and facilities maintenance programs in Southern NSW schools. You will be working on process improvements and building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders as a valuable member of the Asset Management Unit.
A recruitment pool may be created through this process to fill other Group Leader vacancies across the AMU.

About the role
Manage and oversee the delivery of minor capital works and facilities management programs to a group of schools within the assigned area of the regional Asset Management Unit (AMU),including developing effective working relationships between contractors, schools and other stakeholders.

Skills and Experience
5. Ability to manage and deliver a quality service in a high-volume work environment.
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain working relationships with high level stakeholders.
7. Ability to work individually and to collaborate as part of team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s and upholding the and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
9. Current drivers licence and willingness to travel across the assigned Asset Management Unit area.
10. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
