We have an exciting opportunity for a Tool Storeperson to join our expanding team in Mt Isa .
In this role, you will utilise your mechanical knowledge and expertise to coordinate critical tooling in our service operations, managing small assets and the day-to-day planning, usage and bookings for our trades people. You will also be required to perform general maintenance, calibrations and manage the consumables in the workshop. This permanent role is both hands on and a coordination function critical to everyday activity, working Monday to Friday 38 hours per week .
As a Tool Storeperson, your key responsibilities will include:
1. A strict commitment to all safety policies
2. Overseeing the prompt service and coordination of tooling to support services teams for maintenance of the full range of Caterpillar equipment
3. Produce a high level of paperwork and adhering to contamination control and audit measures.

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:
14. Demonstrated experience supporting a trades-based team in an industrial environment
15. Proven ability to manage stakeholder needs and requests
16. Adhering to periodic checks and perform basic maintenance on tooling and tooling calibrations
17. Ability to troubleshoot requests and needs supporting workshop personnel
18. Strong customer service and communication skills – both written and verbal
19. Demonstrated ability using internal parts/system databases for record keeping
