Immediate supervisor: Director, Capability Delivery
Under limited/general direction, undertake duties in accordance with the agreed standards for the Parliamentary Executive Level 1 classification.
The duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Lead and guide team members by clarifying their responsibilities, linking tasks to strategic objectives, setting quality standards, and establishing performance and capability targets.
Contribute to the design, implementation, adherence, and continuous improvement of internal governance frameworks, ensuring they complement other endorsed frameworks and policies within the division or department.
Assist with staffing duties, including recruitment, training, evaluation, and management of staff as required.
Monitor budgets and expenses to ensure financial efficiency.
Implement quality assurance processes and conduct regular audits to maintain high-quality outputs.
Communicate effectively and build productive stakeholder relationships, ensuring mutual understanding and benefits through open communication, negotiation, and feedback incorporation.
Address and resolve issues or discrepancies promptly using critical thinking.
Foster and advocate for a positive workplace culture among staff to create an inclusive, respectful, and empowering environment.
