The Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) is looking for a motivated and experienced Structured Finance professional to join our Corporate and Institutional Bank's (CIB) Debt Products team.In this client-facing role, you will be focused on providing Structured Finance (SF) solutions to our corporate and institutional banking customers and will deliver credit analysis, structuring, negotiating, and documentation on a wide variety of complex deals.You will collaborate and create sustainable relationships with senior debt product colleagues, internal coverage, analysts, and legal departments to provide the highest level of service to our valued clients.You will also identify prospective SF opportunities with customers that lead to new business, including preparation of marketing materials and terms sheets.You will also:Participate in the broader team objectives of achieving Net Income and ROE plansContribute to the development of new applications in SF to pitch to the WIB client baseAchieve key strategic milestones, including transaction numbers & diversityManage associated riskWhat do I need? To be successful you will have the following:Recent experience working with customers that have significant financing needsHigh degree of numeracy and financial competence, including financial modelling, complex credit analysis, legal, tax and/or accountingFormal qualifications in quantitative disciplines such as accounting, finance, engineering, actuarial studies etc.will be well regardedProven ability to work in small deal teams under tight timeframes and other undefined constraintsProven ability to develop a superior understanding of client's industry/business and balance competing prioritiesStrong commercial acumen and decision-making skillsWhat's it like to work there?
