Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic Finance Manager – Group Reporting to join their Group Financial Control team. This role will be a key player in bridging the gap between transaction stakeholders and the finance function, ensuring financial expertise is provided at every step.

The Role
As a Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance, working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure accounting standards are consistently upheld in all transactions. You will also manage statutory reporting processes and contribute to external audits from a group-wide perspective.
Key responsibilities:
* Transaction support: Provide key business stakeholders with clear financial oversight during acquisitions, divestments, and other critical business transactions.
* Financial statement preparation: Take charge of preparing the group’s financial statements, ensuring accuracy and coordinating input from broader finance teams.
* Audit coordination: Facilitate smooth external audit processes, ensuring all statutory requirements and deadlines are met.
* Corporate accounting advice: Offer insights on how transaction terms impact corporate accounting, helping the business make informed decisions.
* Integration management: Oversee the integration of transactions into business systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, including tax and statutory reporting.
* Financial reporting: Assist in delivering timely and accurate financial reports, contribute to results analysis, and support submissions to the Board and Committees.
What we’re looking for:
* CA/CPA qualification alongside relevant tertiary qualifications.
* Strong experience in statutory accounting and reporting, particularly within a corporate or complex environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of transactions into operations and systems.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Will consider someone making their first move from Big 4
