Together with Caterpillar, we've been there for customers - selling and servicing the best equipment in the world - on land, at sea, in construction, mining and industry.Today, we lead the way with great products, unrivalled product support and, of course, the best asset in business, our people.Right now, we are on the search for a strong strategic leader, with a continuous improvement mindset, to take on this exciting new leadership opportunity and become our Operations Manager – Rental & Used.ABOUT THE ROLEBased out of our Laverton branch, and reporting to the General Manager – Rental & Used, you will be responsible for leading and growing our Cat Rental and Used businesses across Victoria and Tasmania.Your key focuses will be on delivering exceptional customer service, as well as improving overall performance while achieving profitability targets.Your key responsibilities will include:Driving your geographically dispersed team to deliver on the performance objectives of both the business and CaterpillarImproving operational efficiencies, as well as enhancing both the customers’ and your employees’ experienceEnsuring that continuous improvement initiatives are implemented in all areas of responsibilityEnsuring value for money for our customers by overseeing the utilisation of available resources, facilities, systems, plant, and equipmentKey collaborator of relationships between the Cat rental and used teams, wider William Adams, Caterpillar, customers, and suppliersBeing the William Adams Cat Rental and Used representative within industry associations, events, and customer activitiesEnsuring business is conducted in accordance with our Health, Safety and Environmental policies and proceduresABOUT YOUYou are a high performing, passionate leader, who thrives on exceeding customer’s needs.
