Your team The Strategy, Technology and Operations team is part of the broader Marketing and Corporate Affairs (MCA) team. It is responsible for leading the development and delivery of the MCA strategy, planning, technology and operations that enables the future of MCA to be realised. The Strategy & Performance team supports MCA in driving strategic and operational excellence. Your impact & contribution The purpose of this role is to support the development and optimisation of the MCA strategic priorities and track performance through guiding alignment between strategy and outcomes. The role will also contribute to the functional operations of MCA to support delivery against our strategic priorities and mature the agility mindset and capability of the function. Your responsibilities The MCA Strategy and Performance Manager is a key influencer and implementer of strategic and transformation priorities. The role will be expected to perform the following tasks in a manner consistent with CBA's Values and People Capabilities. Functional operations: Support MCA financial management and workforce activity through appropriate tracking via forecasts, budgets, actuals and reconciliation processes. Ensure MCA executive accountabilities are defined and adhered to per the Financial Accountability Regime (FAR). Represent MCA on specified Group projects, including software upgrades, recognition activities, and others. Strategy: Support the execution of a strategic planning process that covers the 3-year, Annual Operating Plan and Quarterly Business Review. Support the development of a consolidated and aligned view of the yearly and quarterly MCA strategic priorities, and framework through which to assess progress and performance of the priorities. Support the strategic assessment of internal and external operating environments to identify opportunities to continue optimise and transform the function. Support on executive submissions (Board, ELT, etc.). Ways of Working: Help mature agile capability within the function, including executing process and maturity assessments. Optimise and provide guidance on tools, techniques and metrics to improve end to end execution, velocity and impact. Your skills and experience Demonstrated experience in delivery, strategy and planning and/or consulting. Previous experience in financial services within Marketing/ Corporate Affairs or related industry ideal. Ability to solve complex problems, effectively manage and influence stakeholders. Strong communication skills - written, verbal and presentation. Proactive, positive attitude, self-starter who takes ownership to drive toward an optimal outcome - able to think outside the box and deliver pragmatic and creative business solutions.
