About The Role
We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Youth Worker at our Pooraka location.
This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Team Leader.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide support to young people in line with Youth Services Model of care and associated Frameworks
* Establish effective relationships with clients that encourage self-determination and participation
* Provide support to clients in accordance with TSA case management models and standards of practice
* Ongoingly assess the client's issues, needs and circumstances from initial intake to exit
* Ensure clients are assisted to access support services and establish community supports
* Maintain safe accommodation, on-site supervision, guidance and support for clients
Requirements:
* Degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development or related field
* Relevant experience in a social service environment
* Working with Children Check
* Psychological Assessment
* National police record check
* First Aid Certificate
* Through their Eyes (Reporting Abuse and Neglect) Training
